A slip ring can be used in any electromechanical system that requires unrestrained, continuous rotation while transferring power or data from a stationary to a rotating structure. A slip ring is also called a rotary electrical interface, collector, swivel or a commutation. A slip ring can improve system performance by simplifying operations and eliminating damage-prone wires dangling from movable joints
The JINPAT LPT012-0602 series slip rings provide an economical, off-the-shelf solution when a compact through-hole configuration is required.
This series offers a 12.7 mm through hole for routing hydraulic or pneumatic lines for applications with minimal space. The 5A is available in 6, 12, 18 and 24-way ring configurations with up to 4 shell lengths.
The design uses long-life fiber brush contact technology for ultimate performance in many challenging applications; the fiber brushes require no lubrication, generate virtually no wear debris, and are maintenance-free.
If you have special needs, please contact us so that our sales engineers can recommend a slip ring model or design a custom slip ring for you.
